One of the highlights from the most recent Saturday Night Live was the “Jack Sparrow” video by Michael Bolton and Lonely Island, the group featuring Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer, and Jorma Taccone. The group has had a number of hilarious songs, and they are releasing their album, Turtleneck & Chain
The new video, “Jack Sparrow,” features Michael Bolton, who does an outstanding job. Whether you are a fan of humor or of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, just watch it yourself.

I just “discovered” Lonely Island recently. And while Lazy Sunday is awesome, I am partial to “Dick in a Box” and did you see the follow up “Mother Lover”? This was aweseome, especially as Michael Bolton was a guilty pleasure for me in the ’80’s.
Bolton really does a great job. It’s particularly funny to see someone you usually see in more serious moods doing something funny. Those videos you mention are great too, although I’ve only seen “Mother Lover” once so will check it out again. Thanks for the comment!
