On a recent episode of Parks & Recreation, Patton Oswalt described his funny vision for the next Star Wars film as Amy Poehler listened. A creative person named Isaac Moores, who goes by Izac Less on YouTube, rose to the occasion and made a video illustrating Oswalt’s description of Star Wars VII, which adds some characters such as Iron Man Tony Stark. Check it out.

In case you want to watch all of the Star Wars films again and don’t have the time, this video compilation features all six Star Wars movies running at the same time. It is an interesting video, where you can contrast and compare all of them at the same time. So sit back and watch Star Wars: A New Hope (1977), The Empire Strikes Back (1980), Return of the Jedi (1983), The Phantom Menace (1999), Attack of the Clones (2002), and The Clone Wars (2005). It is a good way to start your preparation for Star Wars VII, which will be directed by J.J. Abrams. [May 2013 Update: Unfortunately, the YouTube video of all six movies is no longer available.]

One of the most played songs on the radio for awhile has been Gotye‘s song “Somebody That I Used To Know.” So it was about time that someone took the song and made it about Star Wars. Check out the latest viral video circulating the Internet.
The video follows the style of the video for the original song. Teddie Films created the parody.
By the way, despite recent Internet rumors, Gotye is alive and not dead.

After last year’s excellent “Darth Vader Kid” (“The Force”) commercial, Volkswagen has gone back to the Star Wars films to present one of the few things that can compete with a kid: dogs. Below is “The Bark Side,” which is Volkswagen’s new commercial that like last year’s commercial features the Star Wars “Imperial March” theme music.
The dogs each represent someone or some thing from Star Wars, including the whippet dog as an All Terrain Armored Transport vehicle (AT–AT). Can you find Princess Leia, Luke, and Han Solo? If you are having trouble identifying the dogs, check out this slide show. The VW commercial will air during the Super Bowl like last year’s “The Force,” featuring the Darth Vader Kid.
When I saw the “Bark Side” title, I initially thought we were going to get a cover of Eddie and the Cruisers — I mean John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band. Well, maybe the dogs will cover “On the Dark Side” next.
